The Senate Bill (SB) 1000 Environmental Justice Tracker provides the status of adopting environmental justice (EJ) elements, policies, and goals into the general plans of local jurisdictions in the SCAG region. The dataset features details for each city and county on the status (adopted, drafted, scoping/initial outreach, or not started) of environmental justice in the general plan. The dataset is based on information available on each jurisdiction's public website. If there is a document available, the document title, type (i.e., EJ element or incorporated EJ goals and policies), date, and link are provided. Additionally, SCAG indicates whether there may be SB 535 Disadvantaged Communities within the jurisdiction's boundaries.
