The original sphere of influence boundary data was obtained from county local agency formation commissions (LAFCOs)to reflect the most current updates and then was reviewed and cleaned up by SCAG staff. This data will be further reviewed and updated as SCAG continues to receive feedbacks from LAFCOs, subregions and local jurisdictions.
